Information regarding the 30th Anniversary Conference:

As ASEM Executive Director and as the General Conference Chair, I would like to invite your section’s participation in the 30th Anniversary Conference of ASEM to be held in Springfield, Missouri, October 14-17th. Since our school was where ASEM was founded, we are proud to be the host for this important anniversary event.  We would greatly appreciate your help in publicizing the conference among KC section members and in general spreading the word among businesses and colleges in the KC area. I have attached a presentation about the conference and a sponsorship sheet that you can use to get the word out. The presentation includes one page that is a call for papers. Also, if members of your section would like to help us out at the conference , we will have a number of volunteer activities.

Because of the economy, the ASEM Board is very concerned about attendance this year. So, your help in creating interest in the conference will be greatly appreciated.

GREATER KANSAS CITY INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERS FALL CONFERENCE:
“ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTIONS: MANAGEMENT’S KEY TO LEAN TRANSFORMATION”

November brings our annual Fall conference.  As many of our members know, the Greater Kansas City chapter annually hosts a conference where the proceeds go towards funding of scholarships for industrial engineering students at Kansas State University and the University of Missouri – Columbia.  This year, we bring you a full day on Lean Transformation!
