The next ASEM Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 16th.  Plan to meet at the River Market Brewery (5th & Walnut in the River Market area) at 5:30pm.

ASEM Fall 2007 Management Workshop
Friday, 14 September 2007

Are you looking for PDH hours, but don't want to pay much for them?  Do you want to learn more about current Management Topics?  Do you want to get out of "honey-dos" for on Saturday morning?

The upcoming Fall Management Workshop, hosted by the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM), will be held on Saturday, October 20th at KU Edwards Campus (Overland Park, KS). Registration begins at 8:30am.  We will be done by Noon. Attached is the registration form with more information.

We have exciting programs planned for this year.  The three one-hour sessions include:

    "The Relationship Between Team Success and Team Virtuality" by Herb Tuttle, University of Kansas
    "The Importance of Culture in Engineering Management" by Bob Godsy, Garmin International
    "How to Play in the Sandbox" by Linda Miller, University of Kansas

The cost is ONLY $10 for ASEM Members, and $15 for Non-Members.

Happy Hour & Fall Semester Kick-off Party
Monday, 27 August 2007

Come join the happy hour to learn about ASEM, meet ASEM members, mingle with students and professors from EMGT program, and learn about future ASEM event (meetings, field trips, workshops, picnic, and happy hours). ASEM will provide the first round of appetizers.  Drinks and additional food purchases are the responsibility of attendees.
